This new book from the renowned Indonesian fiction writer Dee Lestari, who has won the IKAPI Awards for Book of the Year twice and the Anugerah Pembaca Indonesia for Favorite Book and Favorite Author twice, offers both a break and a challenge for her creative self—a break from her busy schedule and other commitments, and a challenge in her craft, as this book was written in a completely new way for her: spontaneously.

Readers will discover a deeply personal side of the author, showcasing her raw, authentic self. Apart from Aku Perlu Tahu, all the stories, both prose and poetry, in Tanpa Rencana have never been published before. At this special event, Sipping Stories will also provide an added sensory experience of wine and cheese that you won’t want to miss.

This session, a collaboration with Bentang Pustaka and Titik Dua’s Sipping Stories program, will be conducted in Indonesian.
